Purse flung up on the hood of her car in the parking lot of the grocery store, one hand frantically rummaging through the contents of her bag, while the other hand grasps at the collar of a child desperate to dash through the cars to certain doom?
Yeah, that's me. Or should I see that WAS me.
Prior to the holidays, my friend and I were laughing at work about how we are forever losing our keys. We drive identical Honda Pilots and can always count on one (or sometimes both) of us having the spare "grey" key shoved in our pockets because we can't for the life of us find our "regular" key. That same afternoon, while trolling Etsy for gifts, I found the treasure trove that is Jen St. Jean's "Itty Bitty Bag" shop. She's bringing preppy back, ladies, and looking damn good doing it.
While I had every intention to only purchase gifts for my daughter's teachers, I couldn't help but buying one of her Wristlet Key Fobs for myself...and for my buddy.
My iPhone photo hardly does this gem justice. (And don'tcha just love my daughter's hand in the shot?) I chose the black and white damask pattern with the hot pink accent. (My current favorite color combination!) The cotton webbing makes it super sturdy, which is a god-send, seeing as it gets flung in my purse...school bag....coat pocket, etc. It slips easily over my wrist, eliminating the frantic scrambling and scrambling for those "damn keys."
You can bet your bottom dollar that I will be buying more from this shop...as gifts and for myself. (I've got my eye on a iPhone case that would be an excellent Valentine's gift. Hint, hint hubby!)
